Write for Northern BC Business

Are you a blogger? Perhaps you’re an aspiring writer? Would you like to contribute to the Northern Business voice? If so, we’d like to hear from you.

Send us a sample of your work to info@pacificprairie.com along with a short bio and any other information that will help us see your value to our readers.

Once accepted, we’ll follow-up and request links to your website, blog, FB and any other social media hangouts you may frequent.

Opinions vs. News
We seek pieces that are relevant to Northern BC, the commerce of our communities and the overall economic health of the region.

We seek pieces that are well researched and rooted in fact and ask  that if you have a relationship of any kind with the company featured in your submissions, that you fully disclose that relationship with us.

Here’s what we’ll do with your submissions

  • Your submissions, no more than 800 words, will be posted to our site(s) along with your picture and links to your website, blog or other social media links you provide.
  • We’ll link to your story via our own Facebook and Twitter Feeds.
  • We’ll post your story under our “Northern BC” group site on Medium.com. Your picture and contact links will be recognized.

Norm Adams, Editor and Co-Founder

Born and raised in Vanderhoof, Norm Adams is a second generation northerner who never anticipated his journey would bring him back to northern BC. Since settling in Prince George in the 1990’s, Adams has consulted on projects in Vietnam and Brazil and has teamed with Perry Cook (below) on several projects in the United States. Today, Adams works as a Commercial Account Manager with Integris Credit Union.

Cook’s arrival in the north is a common story – he never intended to stay. Raised in  Alberta, Cook first arrived in Prince George to fill a four-month job vacancy in 1993 but, like so many others, never left. Today Cook, a father of two, works as the Pacific Regional Manager for Galaxy Broadband Communications.
