Pacific North West LNG is conducting tests and drilling samples on Lulu Island

Lelu LNG
Pacific Northwest LNG are collecting bore hole samples on Lelu Island, near shore and in the marine environment in the area where marine infrastructure is proposed to be located, including the material offloading facility and the bridge from Skeena Drive to Lelu Island. This work builds on the investigative work we completed in 2013. It is to obtain additional information for our engineering design. This is not the start of construction.
A vessel with bore hole sampling equipment will conduct the work in the marine environment and near shore. Impact on navigation within the port will be minimal. For the work on Lelu Island, there is expected to be some helicopter activity to move the bore hole sampling equipment.
