Gas War in the North


There is a gas war in Burns Lake. There are a number of retailers that have decided to lower the gas price in order to compete with the Native gas station lcoated on the Lake Babine reserve. On Wednesday the price at the Chevron was 96.9 while Husky and Real Canadian Wholesale Club were 99.9. All stations have now a posted price of 99.9 whith othe local stations in Fraser Lake, Vanderhoof and Smithers range from 111 to 114.
