Bard Ventures Ltd. (the “Company“) is pleased to announce the summarized results of a recently completed review of the silver assays of the Quartz Breccia drill hole intercepts on its Lone Pine Property (the “Property”). The Property is located approximately 15 kilometers north-northwest of Houston, BC and is situated in the Omineca Mining Division.

Significant widths of molybdenum, copper and silver rich intercepts from the Quartz Breccia Zone demonstrate the potential for developing additional near surface resources to the recently completed positive Preliminary Economic Assessment of the Alaskite Zone located 1.0km to the south. (News release dated January 21, 2011).

In addition to previously released Quartz Breccia Zone assay results (News releases dated July 3, 2008 and March 4, 2011) the Company is pleased to provide a summary of the results of over limit re-analysis for only silver. Significant silver results on the Quartz Breccia are summarized in the following table:

The results of this re-evaluation of the silver assays Quartz Breccia drill hole intercepts demonstrate the exploration potential for discovering additional near surface mineralization adding value to the positive Preliminary Economic Assessment of the Alaskite Zone Resource (News release dated March 1, 2011). Future exploration on the Lone Pine property will focus on expanding these exciting results in both of these highly prospective areas and continued drilling on these new areas of silver mineralization.

The Property has an ideal location for operations with established infrastructure including:

  • Highway 16;
  • A natural gas pipeline;
  • a major hydro power transmission line and transformer substation; and
  • is located only 15 kilometers from the CN rail line in Houston, BC.

Over limit pulp sample re-analysis was performed at Acme Analytical Laboratories in Vancouver utilizing the Group G6 methodology for silver analysis comprising a lead collection fire assay fusion with a gravimetric finish and Group 7TD for copper analysis utilizing a 4-acid Digestion ICP-ES Finish.

Bard is earning a 100% interest in the Property under the terms of an option agreement (News release dated September 15, 2006). The Lone Pine Exploration is being conducted under the supervision of Qualified Person Rick Kemp, P.Geo., Vice President, Exploration.
